DMCA Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Our Commitment
SnapReel respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We do not host, store, or cache any Instagram media on our servers. Our service only provides temporary download links that point directly to Instagram's own CDN servers.
How SnapReel Works
When you submit an Instagram URL, our servers retrieve the media's CDN URL from Instagram and return it to your browser. The actual media file is served by Instagram's infrastructure, not by SnapReel. We act only as a URL resolver.
If you believe content infringes your copyright, the appropriate party to contact is Instagram directly at Instagram's copyright reporting form.
Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe our service is being used to infringe on your copyright in a way that goes beyond our role as a URL resolver, you may send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- The specific URL or content on SnapReel that you claim is infringing
- Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
